FOMEMA’s New Requirement: Tax Identification Number (TIN) Mandatory for Employer Account Setup Starting 1 August 2024

Dear valued employers,

At Pinkcollar, we keep you informed about important updates affecting the management of your domestic helpers. Effective 1 August 2024, FOMEMA Sdn Bhd will implement a new e-invoicing system, which requires employers to provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN) during the FOMEMA account registration process.

What this means for you:

As your hiring agency, we now require your Tax Identification Number (TIN) to register your employer account on FOMEMA’s online portal and ensure the smooth processing of your foreign worker’s medical registration. If you do not have a TIN, it can be retrieved from the LHDN Malaysia page. FOMEMA support and assistance: For any questions or further clarification, FOMEMA’s customer service team is available to assist you. They can be reached via email at cs@fomema.com.my, live chat, or WhatsApp at 03-2782 8777. For more detailed information, please visit the FOMEMA website.
