If you need to extend your domestic helper's work permit beyond its current duration, or if your helper's work permit has expired and you require a re-legalisation before proceeding to next steps, our special pass service is for you.
A special pass by the Malaysian Immigration department will grant your helper a 30-day legal stay in Malaysia from the date of issuance. This might be required when you’re waiting for a new worker to arrive, need more time to complete your helper's end-of-contract procedures, or if her permit renewal deadline slipped your mind and you need a special pass to comply with the renewal requirements.

We will successfully obtain the Special Pass with our expertise in navigating the Malaysian Immigration Department, even if your case is referred to its Enforcement Division. In more complex cases, our service even involves advising you on the exact compound payment applicable for your case and accompanying your and your helper's visits to the Enforcement Division.
Service Pricing
Special Pass (Standard Immigration Unit)
If your helper’s work permit has not yet expired or has expired for no more than 30 days (as of the date of Special Pass application submission), we can assist in applying for a 30-day Special Pass through your regular Immigration unit.
Please note that this does not apply to expat employers under the Residence Pass Unit. In such cases, the employer must apply for re-legalisation through the Immigration Enforcement Division once the work permit has expired.

What’s Not Included
Please note that any compound payment* required by the Immigration Enforcement Division (if applicable) is not included in our service fee. The amount may vary depending on your helper’s overstay period:
- Below 1 month: RM30 × number of days overstayed
Special Pass (Enforcement Division)
If your helper’s current work permit has been expired for more than 30 days, you are required to apply for a 30-day Special Pass through the Malaysian Immigration Enforcement Division.

- Two agency-accompanied visits to the Immigration Enforcement Division (Putrajaya) with the employer and domestic helper
What’s Not Included
Please note that the compound payment* required by the Immigration Enforcement Division is not included in our service fee. The amount may vary depending on your helper’s overstay period:
- Below 1 month: RM30 × number of days overstayed
- 1 month – 6 months: RM1,000
- 6 months – 1 year: RM2,000
- Above 1 year: RM3,000
